Biden didn't say anything in ';defense'; of Iran. His comments weren't directed to Iran. AND he is correct...Israel would be ill advised to start a war.

In reading your link, I don't see him as defending Iran. He simply says he has no more fear of Iran now than last year. Not very descriptive, because we don't know how he felt about Iran last year. Empty talk.





He did say it is not advisable for Israel to blow them up. Probably true. Biden isn't exactly known for insightful, detailed rhetoric, so for him this is about it.





Iran bad. Israel no shoot.
The invasion of Iraq has wiped out the counterbalance to Iran's regional power. It's a statement of reality. Iran is now a major player in the middle east, thanks to Dubya.
