What your describing is classic Post Traumatic Stress Disorder(PTSD).I'm a vet ,I had it.
Physiologist and Psychiatrist ask very different questions.
Physiologist ask questions related to the mind and feelings.
Psychiatrist are medical doctors who are searching for a physical symptom.
The question most would usually ask me was ';do you often loose things';
Fear of death is very normal in these circles and never trips the doctors attention.They generally look for details where a person fixates on one thing for a very long time.
of course they both love to follow the easy route of the Freudian system and ask multiple questions about your parents.I screwed them up,cause I was an orphan.What would a doctor ask a patient who is mentally ill? (i'm writing a movie)?
Have you recently felt any uncontrollable emotions?
Have you lashed out on individuals to whom you are normally ';cool'; with?
Have you felt overly sad/depressed?
the doctor asks, ';are you afraid of dying?';
