Another doctor if he can't treat himself! (almost like saying if a barber needs a haircut, he needs to go to another barber!)Survey : If the doctor is ill, who would he/she go to see?
Another doctor! I worked for a multi-practice Medical Office and that's how I could tell who the exceptional doctors were - whenever I did a doctors bill and saw the other doctor which they used I knew he must be good! :) First hand experience in medical billing - doctors see other doctors and they generally pick the best in the practice to see! :)





By law doctor's can not prescribe medication for themselves nor can they order their own laboratory test, therefore they need a colleague to do that for them.Survey : If the doctor is ill, who would he/she go to see?

Doctors self-diagnosing themselves is discouraged because they can't be objective with themselves.

Actually, they probably take massive amounts of non-FDA approved supplements so rarely get sick.
They'd probably self-diagnose and get a second opinion from another doctor.

The patient would still see a doctor, but not THAT doctor. They cant turn you away like that...
