If McCain wins, falls ill, and Sarah Palin becomes the PRESIDENT, how would your life change?

Some would be the same as if McCain is in office:





My 401k would continue to melt away into nothing.


My husband who is in construction would likely be on unemployment.


I would still have my job as I work for the electric company, but our wages would be frozen due to the sorry state of the economy.


Our health care costs would continue to skyrocket.


Our tax situation would be unchanged as we are not high income.





And if Palin was president, we would also see book banning at the local library, public education getting worse as kids would be taught creationism instead of evolution, and our kids would fall further behind than the Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Canadian kids in the math/sciences. America would no longer be a leader with technology or science.


The environment would no longer be protected.


Polar bears would be extinct.





It would be a very sad time. If McCain wins, falls ill, and Sarah Palin becomes the PRESIDENT, how would your life change?
As I've said with Obama and the Democrats before, the only way that McCain or Palin is going to get the opportunity to enact any kind of MAJOR, sweeping reforms is if like-minded Republicans gain control of 2/3rds of the seats of Congress. Otherwise, there will be significant opposition to any kind of change, enough that nothing significant will get done. Obama will need the same kind of support.





Frankly, I don't see it happening for either of them, though I must admit that I am kind of curious to see who is going to end up controlling Congress, what with the current Democratically controlled Congress so low on people's approval ratings (about 9%) and a Republican party associated with the shenanigans Bush has pulled in the last 7 years.





So, to answer your question, I highly doubt that there will be any big change. You who say you are going to move, I'd say that you'd be wasting your time and money, because life will continue on the same as before, just as it would under Obama.

i would die. sarah palin doesnt deserve to be the first woman prez. she was jsut plucked out of nowhere. she didnt work for it, she dosent even have expirence.


acutally i would move to vancouver cause i would watch america fail miserably under palin and laugh at everyone who thought sarah palin would do a good job.

Very little. She's already my Governor and if the Republicans lose the election, she still will be anyway. If they win and something happens to john (God forbid) then we'll have our first woman president.





My life would change because I'd gloat tremendously since Sarah will have beaten Hillary to the White House!
Fill the tub. Pull the plug. Watch what the water does and visualize. If Sarah Palin ever became the president that is the USA. Fortunately it becomes less likely every day.....Randy N you just proved an old saying about one born every minute....

said it when people talk the same about Obama... one of the advantages of a 3 party system is that one branch can NOT overwhelm the other 2...

I'd be happy to have Sarah Palin as President. I get concerned with the idea that Barack Obama could end up sitting in the White House. I think I'm still very surprised that the Dems selected him as their nominee. Talk about a lightweight.
It won't. Neither Sen. McCain nor Gov. Palin has any chance of enacting any important legislation, with the inevitable Democratic majority in Congress. A vote for McCain is a vote for gridlock, whether he remains in office or Palin has to step in.
sorry but im completely republican and i think it would be pretty cool nothing BAD would happen i mean shes a very intellectual person just like the rest of us Barack has good points to sure but so does Sarah. i mean think about both parties have good points and bad points.
Even though I live in the UK, I would probably try and find a remote island and build a bunker.

Have you ever heard of impeachment? If we don't like what she's doing for us then we can get rid of her. Good luck to the people who move out of the US. Get your butt back to Europe.
